Sony CDP-C79ES VTG Woodgrain CD Player 5 Disc Changer Working With Remote Skipping

Player is in good shape and does play, but not very well as the disc skips. Could just need a head cleaning? The tray comes in and out, changes discs, changes songs, and the original remote works great! Please acknowledge the condition and pictures before purchasing.
